- Rojer Hilbert was born in Saint Louis , Missouri . He is a self-taught artist, studying and trained in art in the Saint Louis Public School system. For two years, he studied and worked with Ambrose Wesley, who is a CAT Fellows (Cultural Arts Training Fellowship), in his studio, which was located on the corner of Case and Leffingwell over a Chinese Restaurant. He has exhibited at the Urban League of Metropolitan Saint Louis Vaughn Cultural Center . He has a painting installed at the Museum of Documents and Records in Saint - Louis , Senegal , West Africa . He has been married to Vanessa Hilbert for over twenty years and has two daughters,(Nia and MOnifa) who have been his greatest fans. He has many collectors in and round the metropolitan area.
